Therapy for Self Esteem in Milwaukee, WI.

You’ve been feeling this way for far too long.

The woman you see in the mirror is not the person you desire to be. Too often you compare yourself to others, which leaves you feeling worthless. Your physical health has fallen by the wayside, and the pounds won’t stop piling up.

Identifying your wants and desires are non-existent.  Making decisions for yourself is becoming increasingly more difficult. Opportunities pass you up because you don’t feel worthy. You hide behind work and busyness to avoid time alone.

Saying no rarely happens. Creating boundaries makes you feel guilty and causes you stress.

Together in therapy, we will explore your experience with self-worth to help identify how you can best manage it, and work to improve it to relieve the difficulties it has been causing in your life. Engaging in self exploration, we will sift through all of the highs and lows of you. We will identify and embrace your strengths. You will learn strategies to help interrupt thoughts and challenge core beliefs that keep you stuck. Processing will allow you to become less critical and more self-compassionate. We will practice mindfulness strategies and work on goal setting. You will learn how to form a healthy relationship with yourself, which will ultimately help improve your relationships with others.

I will help you gain the confidence to start living the life you imagined.
