Counseling for Relationships in Milwaukee, WI.

Relationships require work but don't have to suck the life out of you.

Maintaining friendships are difficult because you’ve outgrown them yet you are afraid to acknowledge that.

Romantic relationships start out well, yet end with you questioning how you keep choosing the same type of toxic partner.

The expectations placed on you by your parents are unreasonable so you feel like you are constantly letting them down.

You’ve dreamed of being a mother all of your life but now that you have children you dislike parenting. You are scared to admit it, so you keep it inside out of fear of judgement.

Draining relationships suck up your time, cause you stress, make you question your worth, and who you are. Without clarity, your interactions continue to be unfulfilling and nothing changes.

Therapy will help. Start on your healing journey.

Being a mother, sibling, friend, partner and employee is just one of the many roles we have. When you are more loyal to others than yourself it’s natural to lose sight of who we are and what we need. Learning to prioritize yourself can help you to better connect and have more meaningful relationships with loved ones.

Looking inwards is important because it builds the foundation for all other relationships. If you have a strong stable relationship with yourself, you can have a stronger relationship with others.  A healthy relationship with self will allow you to engage with others while making the choices that make you happy.

The best relationship investment you can make is in yourself.

In therapy, we will take a look at your attachment styles and how you participate in relationships. We will examine roles within relationships and identify unhealthy dynamics. Prioritizing communication, resolving conflict, and establishing boundaries will assist you in getting your needs met. Lastly, we will help you explore how to remain connected in the relationships you cherish.

After receiving counseling for relationships you will:

  • Improve the relationship you have with yourself.

  • Explore how your childhood and past relationships impact your current relationships.

  • Gain new insight on how you participate in relationships.

  • Reconnect in productive ways with those important to you.

  • Learn boundaries to ensure your needs are met

You don’t have to struggle with unfulfilled relationships. You don’t have to do this alone.
